To ensure the safety of our students and faculty, CSE will be closed for all staff and students on Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3, 2024.

The Charter School of Excellence provides small and safe learning environments for students in grades 6-12 in Erie, PA. We believe all kids can learn and be successful in the right environment with programming to meet their needs. Our philosophy is based on relationship building with students and parents as well as community partners.
In addition to core subjects like math, language arts, and science, we offer a one-of-a-kind student workforce program as well as high-interest electives such as Culinary Arts, Animation, Media Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Digital Music Production, and our English Language Development program, designed to meet the needs of the local refugee population.
