Dan obtained a bachelor's degree of arts from Gannon University in 2002. He then began working for Perseus House's Shelter and Alternative Education Program for three years until beginning at the Charter School of Excellence in 2005. Since then Dan has acquired his Masters in Educational Leadership from Edinboro University and completed his Principal K-12 coursework. He has received the Charter School of Excellence's Staff Member of the Year twice during his service to the organization.
